My name is Maggie Barry and I am an award-winning actress, singer, dancer, filmmaker, and creative who cares about telling authentic stories while continually growing and improving on my craft.

I grew up in the Seattle area, and the thriving theatre community there has gifted me the opportunity to frequently perform in musicals since I was 5 years old. While I consider the Pacific Northwest my home base, I am currently working toward a Bachelors of Music in Music Theatre at Arizona State University.

I am a performer who loves to create full characters. I believe that seeing yourself in a character can be life-changing, so I strive to create three-dimensional people that hold up a mirror to those who watch.

When the Coronavirus pandemic hit, I decided to not look at that as an obstacle to tell stories, but rather as an opportunity to find a new way to tell them. So that lead me to learn everything I could about filmmaking and photography and in July 2020 I was hired at Torres Productions LLC (a filmmaking company located in the PNW) to work with them to make films. Filmmaking quickly became a new love for me and I am grateful for that creative outlet.

When I am not performing or telling stories, you can find me at a thrift store looking for some new finds, playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons, watching Gilmore Girl re-runs, listening to Joni Mitchell, or making myself a mean cup of coffee.
